As part of its European LNG Motion program, Axègaz has launched the construction of its new LNG station in Ile de France, located in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois, between the A6 and the A10, and its opening is scheduled for mid-April.

The Saint-Geneviève-des-Bois station will be able to supply between 15 and 20 trucks per day. It will be based on the LNG BOX, a mobile solution awarded at SITL 2016 that is fast to install and above all three times cheaper than LNG station "classic". For Axègaz, it is a question of "testing" the site with the carriers to eventually lead to the deployment of a real station with several distributors.

Integrated into the European LNG Motion program, launched by Axègaz in partnership with the Charles André Group, this station receives funding from the European Commission (as part of the Connecting Europe Facility for Transport CEF-T) to the tune of 50% of the investment made.

At the European level, Axègaz aims to deploy no less than 42 stations across 9 European countries  over the next three years. In France, a first station has already been fitted out in Lille-Lesquin CRT last June, and another five are due to enter service by the end of the year.
