Iveco, an Italian industrial vehicles manifacturing company, has delivered 30 Stralis Hi-Way LNG Euro VI, a latest model LNG fuelled truck, to LC3, a company specalised in the large distribution and controlled temperature goods delivery.
The delivered Stralis Natural Power have a Cursor 8 C-LNG Euro VI engine, which supports a 510 liters LNG cryogenic fuel tank and 4 70 liters CNG fuel tanks, for a total autonomy of more than 750 km. As a consequence, they can be employed also on medium and long haul trucking.
LNG vehicles allows fuel savings of more than 10%, sided by lower environmental impact in terms of emissions and noise pollution. This is a focal point for companies such as LC3, often working in urban or suburban environments.
