Ecomotive Solutions, the Piedmont company specialised in eco-innovative solutions, is the first company in Italy to have obtained from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport the approval for the transformation of heavy-duty vehicles Diesel - with cylinder capacity  between  9,676cc  and  16,128cc - up to the Euro 6 category Dual Fuel vehicles. Recently, the  company has turned a DAF XF 510 FT, belonging to the fleet of EcorNaturasì (Venetian company leader in the distribution of organic and natural products), equipped with the  Paccar engine MX13 375H1 13-liter and 500 hp, that can circulate on Italian roads thanks to the D-GID system developed by Ecomotive Solution, which communicates with the engine management original system (can-bus support) and feeds the Diesel engine simultaneously with a homogeneous mixture of gases (both methane CNG / LNG, and LPG) and diesel fuel, without altering performance. The gas, coming from a dedicated secondary reservoir and suitably dimensioned according to the autonomy demand, is introduced into the system via a series of additional injectors specially designed to work with the specific gaseous fuel. Ecomotive Solutions, had already received, in februray 2016, MIT approval for conversion to dual fuel cars and light commercial vehicles (from 1,496cc to 3,741cc, weighing less than 3.5 tonnes). The primary injection dynamic control of diesel together with the accurate metering of the air-gas mixture, are the strong points of the system constantly controlled by the electronic control unit D- GID, the  system which improves the emission levels and reduces the carbon footprint, maintaining unaltered the diesel engine architecture, performance and efficiency,  allowing switch to 100% diesel modality if necessary or when the gas tank is empty.
