The Spanish transport company ACOTRAL, which operates a fleet of around 1,600 own vehicles operating both in the European market and in Morocco, has reinvigorated its commitment to sustainability through the purchase of ten new IVECO trucks powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas .
The ten IVECO Stralis 400 NP vehicles acquired by Acotral are powered by an IVECO Cursor 9, Euro Viand 8.7-liter engine that develops a power of 400 hp and a maximum torque of 1,700 Nm. The Stralis NP is also the first LNG truck with 12-speed automatic transmission, which ensures lower fuel consumption and greater driving comfort, achieving a record autonomy of 1,500 km.
