The International Foundation DNV, mainly engaged in naval classification and naval counselling, has shown a record-breaking number of orders for LNG fuelled ships during last month. Last month’s orders of 35 LNG fuelled ships have topped the previous record established in April 2021 (31 LNG fuelled ships). If compared to the month of August, there has been an increase of 23 ships ordered.

MAN Energy Solutions, Elbdeich and Unifeeder have made the world's first refueling of synthetic LNG blended with fossil LNG. On 30 September the container ship "ElbBLUE" - owned by the German shipowner Elbdeich Reederei and managed by the charterer Unifeeder - bunkered about 20 tons of green synthetic natural gas (GNS) in the port of Elbe in Brunsbüttel, Germany.
As part of the international program "L'Oreal for the Future" which defines the company's sustainability objectives for 2030, the "green deliveries" program was launched which provides for the use of sustainable fuel vehicles throughout the logistics chain.
