Thirty new Stralis NP (Natural Power) LNG fuelled have been delivered by IVECO to the company A.BA.CO, one of the largest Italian carriers in the transport and logistics sectors.

The new supply of the 30 Stralis NP,  completed by the delivery of another 50 Stralis XP in the most advanced versions for fuel consumption and respect for the environment, took place at the Interporto di Orbassano (Turin), significant point of Northwest freight traffic, in the presence of Pierre Lahutte, IVECO Brand President, and Mihai Daderlat, Iveco Business Director Italy and of Luigi Ambrosio, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vincenzo Ambrosio, Managing Director of Ambrosio Transport and Logistics Group.

The Stralis NP AS440S40T / P LNG model is the first natural gas vehicle designed for long distance missions, able to guarantee up to 1500 km of autonomy. The vehicle is equipped with IVECO Cursor 9 400 cv, Eurotronic gearbox and double LNG tank, with capacity of 540 liters each.

New Stralis NP LNG performance allows a reduction of NOx emissions of 32%,  99% PM and CO2 up to 95% when using biomethane, the energy source for which the New Stralis Natural Power are already compatible.
