SCAT also enters in the LNG sector

SCAT, a company from Reggio Emilia (Italy) active since 1933 in fuel depots and stores management, has started the construction of its first LNG and CNG distributor, at a Totalerg branded service station in the municipality of Magione, on the motorway junction 6 Bettolle – Perugia.

The plant, built by Ham Italy, will be equipped with a cryogenic tank of 80 cubic meters and is expected to enter in service at the end of March 2018. By 2018 another similar plant will be built in the municipality of Casalgrande (RE), on via Pedemontana (Dinazzano), located in the middle of the industrial ceramics district between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena. A third plant is then scheduled for 2019 in Cazzago San Martino (BS) on the link between A4 and BreBeMi.

SCAT has more than 70 service stations in the North / Central Italy, of which 20 are already supplying natural gas to motor vehicles (28 with LPG), and its own deposit for the supply of companies, haulers, farmers and privates in the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Modena, Parma and Mantova. The company also supplies its clients of Northern Italy directly from refineries.

The company, based in Reggio Emilia in the heart of the industrial area of Mancasale, has revenues of over 300 million euro and about 50 employees and it is able to commercialize 300 thousand tons of fuels, lubricants and biotechnological products per year.
