Liquigas, leader in the LNG final uses sector, will supply LNG for the industrial activities of Argiolas Formaggi, a Sardinian company from the province of Cagliari.

Liquigas will drive both the construction of the plant and the LNG supplying needed for the production processes at the Dolianova site.

The project includes a 60 cubic meters LNG storage cryogenic tank that will supply 2 steam boilers of 3,000 and 2,500 kW. The plant will use a cogenerative system (it will produce both heat and electricity). The estimated LNG consumption is about 350 tons per year, which will increase up to 450 tons per year  with the start of the cogeneration activities.

Thanks to LNG, Argiolas Formaggi will be able to stop the BTZ fuel oil use. LNG is much more sustainable both from an economic and environmental point of view.

Argiolas Formaggi is a leading dairy industry in the of typical Sardinian cheeses sector. The Company uses exclusively local goat and sheep milk.
