During  the International Transport and Logistics Week (SITL) in Paris (14-16 March), a subsidiary of the ENGIE group, GNVERT has announced the deployment of 9 new LNG/CNG stations and of 12 new CNG stations in France, in the next twelve months. The nine LNG stations sites planned for 2017 are in Aix-en-Provence (13), Bondoufle (91), Bordeaux (33), Lyon St-Priest (69), Metz (57), Mitry- , Mulhouse (68), Nimes (30), Toulouse (31) and Bouloc (31). All will also allow CNG refueling. "It's a choice to systematically have LNG and CNG. The operational management of the stations is simplified thanks to the consumption of CNG and the extra cost compared to a station that can deliver only LNG, is moderate compared to the total investment "specifies Philippe Van Deven General Manager of GNVERT. “Above all, the addition of the GNC allows the operator to kill two birds with one stone by also contributing to the deployment of the network of CNG stations across France”. On the CNG side, deployments are planned for Bordeaux (33), Châtres (77), Combs la Ville (77), Courcouronnes (91), Fuveau (13), La Courneuve ), Nanterre (92), Quimper (29), Rungis (94) and St Witz (77). Currently, GNVERT operates 143 VNG filling stations in France (four of  which of mixed type LNG/CNG), providing fuel for approximately 13,500 VNG-powered vehicles (including 10,000 commercial vehicles, 2,600 buses and nearly 1,000 trucks).
