Recently, Iveco delivered 10 Stralis AS440S46T / P fueled by liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the logistics company Gazzetti Srl, which manages the transport of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products for the Italian ceramic district of Sassuolo, town in the Province of Modena; are the first trucks with this power supply to complement the company's traditional fleet.
The ten LNG Stralis are equipped with a 460 HP Cursor 13 engine and 12-speed Hi Tronix automatic transmission and a hydraulic system for the tipping tank, ideal for the tasks they will be used for.
The ceremony took place at the end of January at the Evicarri headquarters in San Cesario - the Iveco dealership of reference in the area, that supported the customer in the choice of vehicles - in the presence of Giorgio Gazzetti, owner of the purchasing company, Matteo and Giovanni Pinelli, owners of the dealership and Alessandro Novarese, sales manager for the Medium and Heavy range of the Iveco Italian Market.
