Recently GNVert, a subsidiary of the Franch Group Engie, has completed a new LNG station near Aix-en-Provence, the historic capital of Provence and the second largest city in the region after Marseille. The station is the eighth of the Group of 35 in operation in France.
Well located in the south-west periphery of Aix en Provence, at the entrance to the commercial area of Les Milles on the D9, near the intersection of the A51 and A8 motorways, the new station is able to distribute both liquefied natural gas (LNG) is compressed natural gas (CNG).
Accessible seven days a week and 24 hours a day, the station for the moment is reserved only for local logistics operators who are equipped with a dedicated badge. However, it will be officially opened to the public within a few weeks, just enough time for the operator to activate its credit card payment terminals, a procedure that should be completed during the next month of August.
