LNG service station for trucks in the Fano cryogenic plant

After more than one year a CNG plant near Fano (Pesaro) will soon also supply LNG for Camon. The Diotallevi Delfo & C sas plant, which also owns another traditional service station, entered in service last 22 December supplying compressed methane and is awaiting for permission from the Municipality of Fano to start the supply of LNG for trucks.

"The LNG plant design, began in early 2011 - explains Umberto Diotallevi, the company's legal representative - when Vanzetti implemented the pilot plant at Villafalletto. Various difficulties led us to the summer of 2016 when construction began, thanks also to the legislative simplification intervened ".

"The plant is located in an area with landscape restrictions and the 60mc tank (brand VRV) was partially buried and placed in an horizontal position. The pumping system was supplied by Vanzetti Engineering, and the plant construction was lead by the CO.ME.CA owned by Eng. Giacomo Farabollini. LNG is supplied by Vulcangas through the Traffic GCA transporter. "After the first year of running-in we decided to upgrade the system in order to double the CNG distribution capacity adding also the LNG distribution station for heavy vehicles. We are close to the Marotta di Mondolfo motorway exit near a major traffic artery such as the Statale 16 " Diotallevi said."
