The Bolzano-based company Auto-Plose Sadobre Srl presented a project proposal for the construction of a LNG and L-CNG filling station, in addition to traditional fuels (diesel and petrol), to re-launch the Friuli-based Pontebba Autopark (Udine).
Opened in 1999, the autopark is located 27 kilometres from the Italian-Austrian border of Tarvisio-Coccau, opposite the Pontebba exit along the A23 motorway.
Designed for customs operations, the “Autoporto” is affected by the enlargement of the European Union and its activity has been progressively reduced, with the exception of practices with hauliers from the former Soviet Union and non-EU countries.
Aligned with a thirty-year concession proposal, the investment - including the adaptation of an existing building - is estimated at around 1 million and 900 thousand Euro.
The entire area, of approximately 26,000 square meters, is able to accommodate almost 100 parking places for heavy vehicles.
The company Auto-Plose Sadobre Srl, which is controlled by the company “Autostrada del Brennero SpA”, manages a fuel distribution service (LNG, L-CNG, Diesel, etc.) mainly for heavy vehicles in Campo di Trens, in the Sadobre area near Vipiteno, in the autonomous Province of Bolzano.
