The energy company Gasum plans to expand its LNG road distribution network through the opening of four new LNG stations by summer 2020.
The Nordic company, which is currently present in all Scandinavian countries and manages 22 LNG refueling stations for the heavy vehicles segment, plans to add new stations to its network in Sweden, at Ljungby, Helsingborg and Gothenburg, and in the Southwest Finland region, at Lieto.
The new LNG outlets are part of Gasum's strategy to expand the development of the gas infrastructure and ensure the smooth and convenient transition to cleaner fuels for the long-haul transport sector, the company says. in his statement.
By the end of summer 2020, the number of LNG and LBG points of sale belonging to Gasum and other operators present in these two fuel retail sectors in the Scandinavian countries should reach a total of 35 refuelling stations, considering both LNG and LBG.
“Despite the challenging conditions during the coronavirus pandemic, Gasum is still expanding the filling station network.
