In the beginning of this month in Teramo (Abruzzo, Italy) will be inaugurated the first LNG and CNG service station for trucks. The service station will be installed at the new Eni service station of Lotto Zero, on the new road linking the western area of Teramo to the highway Teramo-Mare.
The initiative is driven by Petrolbitumi srl, a company that has about 50 fuel refueling plants between Abruzzo, Marche and Molise.
"We are convinced that in the near future heavy vehicles fuelled with liquid methane will be more and more - explains Fabrizio Coppa Zuccari, Petrolbitumi srl general manager. LNG is already a reality for hundreds of road hauliers. Using this fuel also thanks to a widespread refueling station network, truck drivers can refuel safely and conveniently".
