Swedish shipowner Rederi AB Donsötank has ordered two new oil products and chemical tankers fuelled with LNG (dual fuel) at the Wuhu Shipyard Co. Ltd., in China

Designed by FKAB Marin Design, the two class 1A icebreakers of 22,000 gross tons, 167.7 meters in length and 26.5 meters in width, will have a load capacity of 28,000 cubic meters and will be equipped with a main engine Wärtsilä 10V31 DF (Dual Fuel) and two auxiliary engines  Wärtsilä 8L20.

The vessels, that will be commercially managed by Navix Maritime Chartering, are scheduled for delivery in 2021.

The Wuhu shipyard (located in the Anhui Province, Eastern China) belongs to the Chinese group Chery Holding, which also operates in the automotive, financial, commercial and real estate sectors.
